CHRISTMAS CAROLLING – After 10:30 Worship Dec. 14th

We’ll walk to downtown Haddonfield and spread some Christmas cheer. Afterwards, we’ll head back to church for a light lunch together. Help us as we spread some Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear!
 

LONGEST NIGHT SERVICE – Dec. 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel.

Pastor Bob will lead a Candlelight Service of Remembrance in Brown Chapel at 7 p.m. for all who desire an opportunity to honor the memory of loved ones who have recently died. Readings, reflections and prayers will focus on the healing journey of grief.
 

YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CAROLS by Jackie Williams

Come after dinner at 7:15 p.m. to the Music Suite on Wednesday, Dec. 17 to experience carols sung and background information that will enrich your appreciation of some of the best loved Christmas music.

Advent Study

The Sunday AM Small group is continuing a 5-week DVD Advent study that began on Nov. 30 called “A Different Kind of Christmas” by Mike Slaughter. All are welcome on Sun. in room 306 at 9 a.m.
 
 

CHRISTMAS COLLECTIONS November 30th – December 14th

Please visit the tables in the Welcome Center to find out about Christmas donations that we are collecting for children through Angel Tree, Fellowship House, Neighborhood Center, and Robins’ Nest. We are also accepting Spanish-language book donations to help build a library in the Dominican Republic. Purchase something from the book list or allow us to purchase it for you. There is also an Alternative Giving station where you can make a gift to one of our mission organizations in honor of someone this Christmas. Help us spread the joy of Christmas!
 

OPERATION BEAR HUG

It’s time to bring the bears out of hibernation! Donate new teddy bears (12″ or smaller, please) so that we can deliver them to local hospitals on Christmas Eve.
 

TUESDAY AM BOOK CLUB

The Book Club selection for December is The Whip by Karen Kondazian. We will meet on December 9 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sayre Pavilion.

SATURDAYNIGHTERS – DECEMBER 13th

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES

Don’t miss an inspirational night of worship that will leave you feeling the peace and joy of Christmas.
We offer a child-friendly family service at 4 p.m. that gives people of all ages a chance to worship together. At 6 p.m., join us for a contemporary worship experience in Fellowship Hall that tells the story of Christ’s birth in the midst of upbeat music and drama. Finally, at 8 and 10 p.m., the wonder of the Christmas story is shared during a traditional candlelight service including music by the Chancel Choir, accompanied by members of the HUMC Brass Ensemble.
 

DECEMBER 28 COMBINED SERVICE AT 10 A.M.

Join us for a festive combined worship service on Dec. 28th as we continue our Christmas celebration! We will start with breakfast at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall followed by our worship service as we celebrate the season. Wear your favorite ugly Christmas sweater as we gather for a great time of fellowship, fun, food and worship!
