Angel Tree
For four seasons HUMC has been providing gifts and then wrapping and delivering them to the children of prisoners. Look for the Angel Tree in Checkerboard Square. Names and gift ideas will be hanging on the tree. Want to help wrap and/ or deliver? Call Cindy Brown at 933-1312.

Ancora Residents
Koinonia class prepared candy and sweat suits for 30 residents in one area. Your financial assistance is greatly appreciated to help defray costs. You may contact the class treasurer, Dave Grayson 667-3168 if you would like to help.

Mitten Tree
Bring mittens, scarves and hats to place on tree in Checkerboard Square for little hands and big hands for the Henderson Settlement and Respond.

Drenk Children
HUMC has supported children and families who are clients at the Drenk Center. Find names and Christmas wishes on the Drenk Tree in Checkerboard Square. Bring in wrapped and marked by December 19th.

Robin's Nest
Robin's Nest would appreciate new toys and children's books. Movie passes are always appreciated for our clients.

 

Teddy Bears
On Christmas Eve the youth and " adults travel to hospitals in the area and give a teddy bear to those unable to be home for Christmas. LOTS of teddy bears are needed. (We hope to collect 700). Please drop off donations in the playpen outside Leslie Robinson's office. Help is needed to deliver the bears at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.

Henderson Settlement
Coats are needed (new or used) for Henderson Settlement. This is a project of the church school. Please place in playpen near Leslie Robinson's office.

Neighborhood Center
New sweat pants: sizes 1-5 and scarves are needed for young children. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, scarves, pull-ups, big boy & girl underpants needed for children ages 5-14.

Gulf Storm
UMW Gulfport UMC in Mississippi has been adopted by our HUMC UMW. Look for the tree which will have tags listing suggestions for these Gulf victims. Contacts: Audrey Frank 228-1249 or Betty Ann Berry 547-2221.
