United Methodist Women

The Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, and to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.



UMW circles are small groups of women who meet monthly for sharing devotions, prayers, mission studies and fellowship. All women are welcome. Feel free to contact any of the group leaders for more information, or our UMW President, Alice Caldwell at 856/833-1840 or alicewcaldwell@comcast.net.

  • ELIZABETH EGGLESTON CIRCLE meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:00 a.m. in the homes of group members. Call Norma Whitcraft with questions (856/983-1190).
  • HELEN KIM CIRCLE meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Sayre Pavilion. Members take turns hosting refreshments and sharing a devotion.  Call Shirley Landgraf with questions (856/854-0464).
  • SYLVIA SMYTH CIRCLE meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the homes of group members. Call Susan Boyd with questions (856/931-0370).
  • SUSANNA WESLEY CIRCLE meets on the 3rd Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in  Room 306. Call Marie Vogel with questions (856/854-1436).
