If you’re looking for a friendly church in which to worship or a place to serve God with people who want to make the world a better place, Haddonfield United Methodist Church welcomes you with open hearts, open minds, and open doors!

We offer four worship services each weekend, each with great music, powerful sermons, and a community of believers that gathers to give thanks for God’s grace and presence in our lives.
Join us Saturdays at 5 p.m. in Brown Chapel for a casual worship service
and the Lord’s Supper every week. Our church and the Table are open.
Anyone who wants to follow Christ is welcome to receive communion with us
   while offering praise to God.
On Sundays at 8 a.m., we gather for early worship in Brown Chapel . You’ll hear traditional music and an inspiring sermon in a small, friendly setting.
At 9 a.m., our praise team leads contemporary worship in Fellowship Hall. This come-as-you-are service is a laid-back yet powerfully moving time to praise God and learn about our role in helping to transform the world for Christ. Feel free to wear your jeans, bring a cup of coffee, and start your Sunday with us! Kids are always welcome. We’ve even set a table for them!
At 10:30 a.m., we offer a formal service of worship in our majestic Sanctuary. You’ll be inspired by beautiful music (featuring Chancel Choir, children’s choirs, or one of our bell choirs, as well as a state-of-the-art organ) and the word of God preached by one of our four pastors.
At 6:00 p.m. Worship Service — In room 305 we offer a new style of worship for a new era. “The Current” is informal, innovative, and inspiring. Each week is a little bit different. Come expecting to be surprised by God.

** Childcare is offered by an experienced, caring staff during the 8, 9, and 10:30 a.m. services in Room 121. (At 9 a.m., children in kindergarten and older attend Sunday School on the second floor.)

The Lord’s Supper at Haddonfield UMC

We serve Communion on the first Sunday of each month at our 8, 9, and 10:30 a.m. services as well as weekly on Saturday evenings. No matter when Communion is served, the table is always open to anyone who follows Christ. You do not need to be a United Methodist or a member of our congregation to receive communion with us.

Knowing, Loving, and Serving God

Theology is not just about God. It is also about us. We live out of our understanding of who we are in relationship to God, to one another, and to the world. The Christian faith is grounded in the love and grace of God, experienced through Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Christian life is our response to God’s love and grace. (from United Methodist Church website.)

At Haddonfield UMC, you’ll find opportunities abound to learn more about God through studies and small groups; to love God by worshipping with us or practicing your faith in new and exciting ways; and to serve God by participating in our many ministries and mission opportunities. Contact the church or a member of our staff at any time if you want to learn more about how you can become involved. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming place for you to explore your relationship with God.
